One current hobby is being a signed-up member of the temporary citizen club. I have owned and ridden a number of motorcycles over the last few years. Here is a collection of my reports that I've sent to the lists over various years.

No page is complete without the obligatory Bikes I've Owned page.

Trip Reports

Chase the Snake 2003 A ride through the eastern part of Washington, Canada and Idaho on the aprilia.

Snowy Mountains Nov 2002. Repeat of last year's ride, but this time four days rather than three. This time I learn how to light up the rear tyre mid corner and that the VTR is a better bike than the VFR :).

Snowy Mountains Nov 2001. A fundraising ride for the Childhood Cancer Institute. Staying in Jindabyne and 3 days of tyre-shredding fun.

Round Australia trip pictorial. Photos of my trip that I did around australia. Even though most are thumbnails, this is very graphics heavy. Expect it to take a while to load.

Current Groups

WetLeather

When not living in Oz, I'm working in Seattle. WetLeather are one of the local ride groups there. They title themselves as Pacific North West of the North American continent. It takes in Vancover and various surrounds too.

CBR1100XX Owners Organisation

Lots of nutters on Blackbirds in the USA. Main Site and the forum.

Aprilia Forum

For the aprilia. Mainly hang out in the Mille and Tuono section.

  • Wanneroo Track Day
  • A 3 Dams Run
  • Suspension Setup Course that I ran
  • Overnighter to the Margaret River area.
  • Miscellaneous photos that don't have one of the other reports to hang with.

  • The big one - the Trip around Australia. The online diary that I wrote as I was riding for MCNEWS.com.au
